Why I do what I do...
After publishing my memoir, I realized that my journey of exploration had just begun and that there was something beneficial I could yet bring to this world.
While my life had dramatically changed with no way back to where I had started from, I found myself quite suddenly on a new path, with fresh exciting opportunities. Motivational talks gave me the chance to not only share my own story of survival against all odds and prove that with a little resilience and a lot of determination you can overcome huge life hurdles, but more importantly it gave me the opportunity to help many other people going through their own challenges.
My favorite discovery is that the best way to start the healing journey is simply through open discussion, that by speaking honestly about life's difficult topics, the ones we all tend to avoid, we can together find a path to renewal..
